Here’s a list of what we packed for our 2-day trek along the Nāpali Coast:
- 2 hiking packs
- 2 sets of trekking poles
- a small pot to cook food in (I couldn’t find my origami pot, which is superior in every way)
- dehydrated camping food
- lots and lots of water (bring camelback)
- rum, for possible pirates (per Alex)
- Alex-on-a-Stick
- an emergency pack
- phones
- a change of clothes (we decided to just do a change of shirts to keep things light, since we’d only be there overnight)
- hiking boots and waterproof socks
- sleeping pads
- hats
- a sunscreen stick
- sleeping bags
- cutlery
- a LifeStraw
- gas for cooking
- BC powder
- Ven-Ex anti-venom
- sunglasses
- a lighter
- Delta-9 gummies, rolls, and a vape
- a flashlight
- Cliff Bars
- biodegradable, eco-friendly body wash
- wet wipes
- a plastic bag for said wet wipes
- a solar-powered bank for our phones
We’ll review what we did and did not end up using in a future post. Good luck!
